Site Modules

All modules are installed by the full JoomLeague package. Publish them with Joomla's standard module manager, choose a template position and assign the required project, entry, club or venue. Their output respects publication and access rules from the component.

Competitions (mod_joomleague_competitions) lists published projects and can filter by sport type, season and competition.
Project Navigation (mod_joomleague_navigation) provides a consistent project menu linking its overview, participants, programme, standings and statistics. Select list or another offered navigation style, choose whether to show the project name/overview, and use it when several JoomLeague pages belong to one project.

The Competitions module can filter by sport type, season and organisation; zero/blank filters mean all applicable published records. Its default limit is 10, and sport, season, organisation and aggregate counts can each be shown or hidden.

Programme modules

Programme (mod_joomleague_program) shows upcoming, completed or all programme items for a whole project, one entry or one club. Configure the item limit and whether project, round, date, venue, result and calendar controls are shown.
Next Event (mod_joomleague_next_event) shows the nearest applicable programme item for a project, entry or club, with optional round, venue and iCalendar link.
Venue Programme (mod_joomleague_venue_program) shows upcoming, completed or all programme items at one venue, optionally including venue media, address and project context.

Table and ranking modules

Standings (mod_joomleague_standings) renders the same automatically calculated standings data as the component view. It supports scope, selected metrics, highlighting, promotion/relegation zones, recent form and responsive columns.
Statistic Ranking (mod_joomleague_statranking) ranks people by a selected statistic in one project; automatic statistic selection is also available.
Event Ranking (mod_joomleague_eventranking) ranks recorded event types in one project.

Both ranking modules default to five rows and can show the project name. Statistic Ranking can automatically choose an available statistic or use an explicit statistic code; Event Ranking requires an event code compatible with the project's sport type.

Entity modules

Participant (mod_joomleague_participant) presents one project entry, with optional image, project, club, member count and action links.
Club (mod_joomleague_club) presents one club, optionally including its logo, teams and a limited programme. Logo, teams and events are separate switches; the programme limit defaults to three.
Personnel (mod_joomleague_personnel) lists project staff, officials or both, with configurable count and images.

Publishing checklist

Open Content → Site Modules and create/select the JoomLeague module.
Select its required project/entity and save once before choosing a project-dependent entry, stage, statistic or event.
Choose a position that exists in the active site template.
Set menu assignment deliberately; On all pages can expose a project module in unrelated sport sections.
Publish and test as an anonymous visitor.

The standard Joomla advanced options remain available, including alternative layout, module class and caching. Most data modules default to a 900-second cache; disable it while diagnosing recently changed data, then re-enable an appropriate cache for production.
